About

Alexei Petrachuk outdoors in winter

I’m a backend developer passionate about building high-load server applications that combine robust architecture, performance, and scalability. I enjoy working on systems designed for stability and efficiency under extreme load—solutions capable of handling millions of requests with minimal latency.

Currently, I’m Head of the Data Integration Center at Russian Standard Bank, where I build and maintain core integrations that support decision-making and risk assessment. I’m also involved in designing and optimizing backend infrastructure to meet best practices in performance, security, and reliability.

I’ve built backend solutions across a wide range of teams — from large enterprises and startups to small groups focused on digital products.

In my free time, I enjoy running, cycling, reading technical books, spending time with my family, or honing my survival skills in battle royale games.

Experience

  1. 2022–Present

Head of IT in Risk Management Department · Russian Standard Bank

Leading a team of developers and ensuring seamless operation of critical services. I design integration solutions for risk assessment systems and the internal credit scoring portal at BRS.Inspector, including integrations with credit bureaus and other external data sources. I also support the bank’s credit pipeline, focusing on its interaction with credit bureaus.

  2. 2020–2022

    Team Lead · SberTech

    Senior Backend Developer

Led a team of five backend developers and managed the development of an internal request system for handling employee applications at SberTech. Oversaw integrations between internal systems (SAP, 1C, and others), product development tracking, team workload monitoring, and the company’s document management system. I also maintained SberTech’s internal websites and EVE, a chatbot that provides reference information on the intranet.

Under tight deadlines, I built a microservices-based module for the request system using a BPM engine, cutting application processing time in half. I also developed a service for an external medical provider, which enabled the company to secure a new partnership agreement.
